"It is a painful to suffer illness, but the most painful thing of all is to feel abandoned by everyone." leprosy is a disease that causes serve disfiguring, skin sores and nerve damage. It is often surrounded by terrifying negative stigmas as patients are being treated as outcasts.
On 5th March 2020 class teacher of classes 4E, 4F, 5E, 5F, and 6E, 6F along wih the teachers of classes 1, 2 and 3 got a chance to visit leper's colony. We took goodies and edibles for the leper's and then we sang hymns and songs to entertain them. They all seemed to be happy and to show their gratitude, they also started singing and playing dholak. It was an enriching experience.
