Description:
“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” – Albert Einstein
On May 16, 2025, under the guidance of our respected Principal, Reverend Sister Lissy, and Vice Principal Reverend Sister Namita, the members of the Universal Solidarity Movement (USM) organized an inspiring activity titled “Bird Feeders and Water Stations” as part of their ongoing campaign: *Guardians of Nature: Small Acts, Big Impact*.
On this day, the young members of USM, along with their dedicated teachers, came together to show their solidarity with nature. With commendable creativity and a strong sense of responsibility, they designed and handcrafted eco-friendly bird feeders using recycled materials. Each feeder featured the USM logo, symbolizing compassion, care, and environmental stewardship.
These feeders were placed strategically across the school campus—on trees, in gardens, and open spaces—inviting birds and small creatures to find nourishment and shelter. To further enhance this gesture of kindness, fresh water stations and feeding bowls were installed, ensuring that birds have continuous access to clean water, especially during the hot summer days.
While these actions may seem small, they created a significant impact, instilling a profound respect for all forms of life in every student. This initiative beautifully embodied the spirit of USM: solidarity in action and compassion in practice.
Such activities not only benefit the natural world around us but also cultivate empathy and responsibility in young hearts. They remind us that even the simplest actions, when performed with love and purpose, can lead to meaningful change.
