Description:
The 76th Republic Day was celebrated in the school this morning. Class 9 D presented a special assembly on this National Festival with great patriotism and enthusiasm.
The event commenced with the flag unfurling ceremony by our Manager, Rev. Sister Sumita, followed by the National Anthem, instilling pride in everyone.
Sacred readings from the holy scriptures along with a heartfelt prayer, set a spiritual tone.
A powerful dance drama depicted India’s freedom struggle, highlighting key moments like the Quit India Movement and the framing of the Constitution, paying tribute to leaders like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Nehru and Patel. Energetic dances to patriotic songs such as Ae Watan and Vande Mataram, a choir’s melodious rendition and the iconic Sare Jahan Se Accha filled the air with national pride.
Rev. Sister Sumita inspired everyone with her speech, urging all to uphold constitutional values. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and spirited chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai!”, leaving everyone motivated to contribute to the nation’s progress.
